Knapp Students using technology in the classroom
On Monday, 3/26, the Currituck Board of Education toured The J.P. Knapp School. We saw several classrooms of excited children using technology.
In Kelly Archer’s second grade classroom they were viewing a live webcam of a Bald Eagle nest in Virginia. As part of their wildlife study they regularly check in on the eagles and their chicks.
In Judy Krauss’ second grade classroom the students were using a Smart Board to review fractions.
Cindy Maziarka had a group of students in the computer lab studying North Carolina counties. They were listening on headphones as the Text Help software read the on-screen text.
